Post Covid JFS Group noticed huge changes on Vancouver Island within the Tourism, Hospitality, and agriculture, sectors that sell local food with a refocused attention and direction towards pushing support for local produce and food systems.

The Studio

The Studio was created by 30 years living in Point Grey, Vancouver balancing myself between cooking, photography and farming. Many years of incredible collaborations with Chefs and Restaurateurs sculpting new concepts, creating incredible food and experiences from the ground up. Jericho delves in so many areas, front and back of house, hotel, restaurant, adventure tourism, retail grocery and even working on a farm. Always driving, never stop searching for excellence and pursuing the best customer experience. Growing food, cooking food, food photography, better methods of food sourcing, utilizing all the product that comes off the field. Processing harvest by drying, canning, and freezing. Whatever methods to try and achieve year-round agriculture concepts and food security. 40 years of working with menus in different cities, one starts to see the reciprocal motions of ideas, ebb, and flow,. What was once old is new again.

Creating concepts and menus around local and seasonal foods is a lot of work, let JFS Group solve the directions needed to develop a good concept around farm to table, and working off menus created by produce off the farm. Southern Vancouver Island has incredible year-round access to incredible produce. Jericho has years of experience growing food, and understands the ability to further extend a season, by better methods of food sourcing, utilizing all the product that comes off the field.
