Delivering Local & Sustainable Products From The CRD

March 2020, restaurants closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Local farmers lost a valuable market, some up to 40% of their sales. Crops destined for these restaurants were planted in early spring and will be ready for harvest this month. With the help of the Rapid Relief Fund, the South Island FarmHub has been able to fast track its launch and is now ready to distribute this fresh produce to local purchasers.
