The BC Eco Seed Co-op is a producers cooperative of 20+ farmers providing BC grown, certified organic and ecological seeds grown on our farms across British Columbia. From packet size to large bulk quantities, the BC Eco Seed Co-op has seeds for growers of all sizes. At this time, certified organic seeds are only certified for British Columbia.
About Us & Our Seeds
We are a producers’ co-operative growing and providing 100% BC-grown vegetable, herb, flower, and grain seed that is ecologically grown and certified organic, open-pollinated, regionally selected, and GE-free. All our seeds are grown by our members on farms across the province. Our mission is to increase the quantity and improve the quality of ecological and organic seed grown in BC. Southern Vancouver Island market gardens create access, to year-round healthier, and affordable produce. Central Saanich is home to 152 farms, more than 2,679 acres (ALR). Approximately 700 farms in Cowichan valley some of which on (9,400 ha) or 23,000 acres of prime agricultural land. Agriculture Tourism, beverage industry, and alcohol such as wine, beer, cider, mead, and food manufacturing make F&B a major industry on Vancouver Island. jerichocafe.net goal is to broadcast and disseminate information about what we have on southern Vancouver Island.
